This is the cost for a plumber to come to your home, diagnose your unit and give you repair options. This price does not include the cost of the repair.

Repair cost:

The actual price depends on what's wrong with your water heater. For example, a thermocouple replacement typically costs less than a leak in the tank (it's often cheaper to completely replace a leaky water heater).

The only way to get an accurate price is to have a plumber inspect and diagnose your water heater.

Schedule online or call us to set up your repair.

On the day of your repair, your plumber will arrive promptly to inspect and diagnose your water heater. Then, they'll give you several repair options with prices for each before any work is completed. So at the end of the day, you choose what you pay.

2) Fixing the problem (Starting at $189)

Once you choose a repair option, we'll get the job done right the first time—saving you time and money in the long run.

3) 1-year labor warranty

We back up our repair work with a solid 1-year labor warranty. If a problem should arise due to our repair within that time, we'll cover the cost of labor to fix it.

How much does it cost to install a new water heater?

Your water heater installation cost depends on many different factors, including:

• Tank vs. tankless units. Tankless units are typically more expensive to install than tank water heaters.
• The size of the water heater. Tank water heaters are sized by how much hot water they can hold (measured in gallons). The higher the capacity of the tank, the more the unit costs. Tankless water heaters are sized according to their "flow rate". The higher the flow rate, the more a tankless unit typically costs.
• Gas vs electric. Gas water heaters cost more upfront than electric water heaters. However, gas water heaters are typically more efficient and provide higher energy savings over the lifetime of the unit.
• The efficiency of the water heater. Every water heater has its own “EF” rating, which determines how “efficient” it is. Typically, the higher the EF rating, the higher the cost of the unit.
